A deal has been reached with Nate Marquardt and Zuffa in which Nate Marquardt will compete in Strikefroce. Marquardt has not fought since a positive steroid test 8 months ago. Marquardt has long been considered one of the best middleweights in the UFC. He is now going to be now moving down a weight class and a possible title shot in the near future at welterweight. Some possible opponents include Tyron Woodley, Tarec Saffidine, Jordan Mein.

Chris Johnson is a former amateur and professional boxer turned trainer. In 1992 he won a bronze medal for Canada. As a professional he had a record of 26-3-1 14ko. We had the opportunity to speak with Chris and he shared his thoughts on many things.
What do you make of the current heavyweight division?
The division is pathetic in that you see a guy who has lost a couple of fights in a row get a title shot. The landscape in the division is changing some of the heavyweights of the past cannot compete with the heavyweights today. Take for example Mike Tyson he had tremendous power but I would say he was a three round fighter in that after the first 3 or 4 rounds he did not posses the power he had in the first. He would not last today because the heavyweights are so big and tall and know how to fight the smaller fighters. Lennox would last in any era because he had the skills and was athletic. Interview with Tyson Cave
Most parents try to support their kids no matter what. When we grow up we tell our parents what we want to be and out parents tell us we can be anything we want to be. Most parents say that but few mean it, in the case of Tyson Cave he only ever wanted to be a fighter and his father has sacrificed a lot to make his sons dreams come true.
